Ingreep
Er werden initieel voorlopige expanders geplaatst ter hoogte van beide borsten in afwachting van de definitieve reconstructie.
Ingreep
Beide expanders werden verwijderd en er vond een beiderzijdse reconstructie plaats met een DIEP flap.
Resultaat
Mooi natuurlijk gevormde borst die aangenaam aanvoelt. Beide tepels werden gereconstrueerd met nadien tattoo.

Voorgeschiedenis
Borstamputatie links gehad en genetisch belast op borstkanker waarvoor wegname rechter borst dient te gebeuren.
Ingreep
Beiderzijdse reconstructie van de borst met een DIEP flap. Rechts werd de huid gespaard, links werd huid toegevoegd aan de reconstructie.
Resultaat
Natuurlijk ogend resultaat met goede onderpool en projectie van de borsten. Tepel reconstructie en tattoo nadien ook.
Bilateral breast reconstruction with a DIEP flap. The right breast was removed preventively and reconstructed, while a delayed reconstruction was performed on the left (mastectomy in the past). Subsequently, a nipple reconstruction with tattooing was carried out.
DIEP flap breast reconstruction of the right breast after the previous placement of a temporary prosthesis. The breast looks very natural thanks to the use of own tissue. Subsequently, a nipple reconstruction was performed with tattooing. The scar on the abdomen is nicely covered by underwear.
