Bilateral breast reconstruction with a DIEP flap. The right side was removed preventively and reconstructed. On the left side, a delayed reconstruction took place after a previous mastectomy. Subsequently, a nipple reconstruction was performed with a medical tattoo.

Bilateral breast reconstruction with a DIEP flap. The right breast was removed preventively and reconstructed, while a delayed reconstruction was performed on the left (mastectomy in the past). Subsequently, a nipple reconstruction with tattooing was carried out.

The left breast was removed along with the nipple, while the skin remained intact. A temporary expander was placed to keep the skin in position. Subsequently, a reconstruction was carried out using a DIEP flap, including the creation of a new nipple. The right breast underwent a reduction and lift to achieve harmonious symmetry between both breasts.

DIEP flap breast reconstruction of the right breast after the previous placement of a temporary prosthesis. The breast looks very natural thanks to the use of own tissue. Subsequently, a nipple reconstruction was performed with tattooing. The scar on the abdomen is nicely covered by underwear.
